The type of toothbrush that you put against your teeth can truly make a difference in how healthy and clean they are. Tips for Choosing the Best ToothbrushConsider these tips when choosing the best toothbrush to use. It is also important to keep in mind that the toothbrush should feel comfortable to you. You are the one that has to use it in your mouth and against your teeth. The toothbrush you choose to use should have soft bristles. You don't want to use one that has harsher ones because this is going to cause a problem with your gums and teeth. We recommend using powered toothbrushes, as they provide power and can remove all of the build-up that is causing you problems, even in those hard to reach areas. Make sure to choose a toothbrush that has a head that can easily fit in your mouth but is big (or small) enough to brush at least one or two teeth at a time. Our little powered brushes polish each tooth individually here at our office. Brushing, even every day, does not take away from the fact that you have to visit our dentist for a dental cleaning and exam every six months. Our hygienists are great at what they do, and our dentist can provide a treatment care plan based on anything that they see. Make sure you're covered when you have the right toothbrush for the job.
